COMICS: Cover to DC's Batman #1 following relaunch revealed!

Following a teaser of the art yesterday, the folks at 'Bleeding Cool' have revealed the cover art to Batman #1 following DC's relaunch, which could tease come villain redesigns, check it out!

The folks over on Bleeding cool have just revealed the cover for Batman #1 with art by none other than Greg Capullo! (X-Force, Angela, Spawn)
It'll be hitting shelves in September following DC's relaunch of 52 titles after Flashpoint, and you can check it out below!



The cover seems to show Batman fending off some of his classic villains such as Killer Croc and Two face towards the bottom right hand corner, and shows what seems to be a newly designed Riddler on the right with a green question mark shaved on his head. Its seems as though Scarecrow is also makes an appearance towards the bottom left. The cover also showcases some new villains such as 'Mr Pyg' who can be seen being punched on the right who only just recently appeared in the Batman mythos.

Bleeding Cool also suggested Greg Capullo will be doing the artwork for the entire book and that they will reveal the writer tomorrow so be sure to check back here as and when its revealed!

is it me or does batman have a boner. Anyways what happens to Batman Inc and crap. and I am guessing Batman and Robins going to be replaced, I was liking the Damien and Dick dynamic.Cool cover digging the armored look of bats

@Hellsing, I agree I liked Dick as Batman! But I think this is exactly the same as the Batman Inc costume apart from the symbols changed back and the pants are back too

I dig the Batsuit, the armor and symbol looks epic Reminds me a lot of the armored Arkham Asylum Suit.
Every villain is spot on, except Riddler, lose the question mark Mohawk!!!

For the love of God let Morrison stay on Batman and keep Damian Wayne. As long as those things remain then I will be fine with this DC revamp.

I also do not like that David Finch redesigned the costume last year and already they are dumping it.

I like Capullo's art but this isn't a very good cover. A first cover should be iconic, this is just a generic shot. I guess im saying he could have done better. And i agree with Grif that Batman is posed strangely. The new batman costume isn't bad, not my taste but i've warmed up to it. Hopefully we will be seeing better art from Capullo soon ie. interiors.

for those babbling about "no mouth" his face is in the shadow... this is the same suit revealed in jim Lee's rebooted JLA.. get a clue!

Me? I cant wait for this and hope it features solo Bruce Wayne adventure with small guest stars by the batfamily.

Capullo will be doing interiors for the run, met him at the Phoenix COmic Con and he said he will be and that Lee told him to do his version of the joker.also the first page is a full on action splash page

@Elg No [frick]in way! Todd McFarlane's Batman shits on this guy's Batman IMO. Remember the Spawn/Batman crossover? Not the greatest comic but I still enjoyed McFarlane's work.

the batman stories now are totally lame,with so many batmen running here and there people are confused and batman has become a joke,finally DC understood that simple is better

hopefully this will be bruce wayne as batman kicking ass again like he did countless years.

Just when Bats went back to coolest bat sysmbol (the yellow one) he went back to the LAME all black one. *Sigh*

Cool cover, though. Personally, I hope Dick Grayson is Nightwing again. There should only be ONE Batman.
