COMICS: DC Announce New Creative Teams and Covers for 10 Reboot Titles!

DC Comics have announced the Creative Teams and Covers, of 10 of the 52 titles which will be rebooted in September following their Comic event, FLASHPOINT!

This Tuesday, DC Comics confirmed the news of a reboot of all their titles following the end of Flashpoint in August. Following that DC also announced that the title first to hit shelves will be Justice League #1, written by Geoff Johns and Pencilled by comic book legend, Jim Lee. Today they have revealed the other creatives teams that will make up 10 more, of 52 titles being rebooted.

On Tuesday, we made the announcement in USA Today that DC was undertaking a historic renumbering of 52 superhero titles across the line, starting with JUSTICE LEAGUE #1 by our superstar creators Geoff Johns and Jim Lee. The cover to issue #1 is by Jim Lee and Scott Williams.

We’re announcing today that several of DC’s most iconic heroes will receive historic new first issues spinning out of the pages of Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s JUSTICE LEAGUE:

WONDER WOMAN #1 Written by Brian Azzarello (The Joker and 100 Bullets). Art by Cliff Chiang. Cover to issue #1 by Cliff Chiang.


AQUAMAN #1 Written by Geoff Johns. (GREEN LANTERN and BRIGHTEST DAY) Art by Ivan Reis. Cover to issue #1 by Ivan Reis and Joe Prado.


THE FLASH #1 Written by Francis Manapul with Brian Buccellato. Art by Francis Manapul with Brian Buccellato. Cover to issue #1 by Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato.


THE FURY OF FIRESTORM #1 Written by Ethan Van Sciver and Gail Simone. Art by Yildiray Cinar. Cover to issue #1 Ethan Van Sciver.


THE SAVAGE HAWKMAN #1 Written by Tony Daniel with art by Philip Tan. Cover to issue #1 by Philip Tan.

DC UNIVERSE PRESENTS #1, a new series that will focus on multi-issue story arcs each featuring a different superhero from the DC Universe, kicks off the first arc of the series: Deadman
Written by Paul Jenkins. Art by Bernard Chang. The cover to issue #1 by Ryan Sook.

i don't know,but the suits look awesome and it's good 4 me if there rebooting some issue's cause im kind of new to the comic books(and 4 the new Fans to know more about the characters),and yeah i use to think hawk-man's suit suck but man this is awesome!! and (darkknightlegend) please could you bring more larger pics and nice fing.

I'm glad these characters I getting these series. But a lot of these costume changes look stupid and unnecessary, mainly Hawkman, Booster Gold, and Captain Atom.

geoff johns is writing 4 books.

-the flash
-green lantern
-aquaman
-justice league

the story telling is bound to suffer when you're writing so many books.

As of now he is announced to write Aquaman, Justice League (Which I even wonder if it is a monthly series or just a single issue). He is not writing Flash no one knows about Green Lantern.

Though I will not argue recently his work has suffered from doing so much.

Hey I just read the post on dc website and I think you made a mistake Geoff Johns is not writing the flash Francis is and art is also being done by him with the help of Brian. I think hawkman looks beast and man Aquaman cover looks good as well

@marvel72- Johns is pretty good at handling several stories at one. I mean no one has a problem when Brian Michael Bendis does it
