Top Cow's Pilot Season has begun and what that means is that fans can vote for one of eight first issues to be turned into an ongoing. Amongst those eight, is Seraph, a book created by All-Pro Chicago Bears linebacker, Lance Briggs.
Seraph is the story of "DeSean Murray, a man who commits suicide but is given a chance to fight evil on Earth by an angel. However, the rub here is that his powers are only as good as his own righteousness: Seraph, who has a large, crosslike tattoo on his back, has to follow the word of God to the letter in order to be superhuman."
Briggs, an avid reader of comics since he was 6 yrs old. will be teaming with Top Cow writer, Phil Hester (The Darkness)to bring the story to life.
