Rumor's that the three-time Oscar winner Jack Nicholson was retiring from acting surfaced early on Sept 4, 2013 shortly after a report said hat the actor was suffering from memory loss, which has forced him into retirement. The report went into specifics saying that he couldn't remember lines and that's why he wasn't taking on new projects.

This report was false.

E! News has confirmed that the actor is live and well. Nicholson is currently reading scripts and looking forward to his next project, and I am too. Another Oscar nod for the guy will give him one for each of the past six decades. Not many actors can say that.

Where the report of his retirement sprang from is unknown to us and to the star. Regardless Nicholson assures us that the report was 100% false.

Nicholson's last film was HOW DO YOU KNOW back in 2010.
