Its been reported that Jason Momoa and Thomas Jane [rumored] are set to join Sylvester Stallone in the live-action adaptation of "Bullet to the Head". The film's plot centers around Stallone playing a hitman called Jimmy Bobo, who forms a loose partnership with a New York cop when both their partners are killed by the same man. According to reports over on First Showing, Stallone's partner will be played by Thomas Jane, and the new Conan, Jason Momoa, has been cast as the despicable villain of the piece.
In speaking about the film, Jane had the following to say:
"He's a hitman [Stallone], I'm a cop, and we're just opposite in every [frick]ing way, and we need each other to get this job done. And of course I'm like, 'As soon as this job's over, I'm going to take you to jail, you know, you're a killer."
The film will be based the French graphic novel by Alexis Nolent and will be written/directed by Walter Hill [The Warriors, Aliens (co-wrote), 48 Hrs.].
Also, joining the cast is "Fairly Legal" star Sarah Shahi who will be playing Stallone's daughter. Sung Kang [Fast and the Furious] is also attached to the movie. Various sites are reporting that he may be replacing Jane but nothing has been confirmed at this time. Both Hill and Stallone are adamant about Jane remaining in the film.
Personally, I hope Jane remains. A movie with Rambo, Conan, and the Punisher, plus eyecandy like Shahi sounds pretty cool to me.
