Legendary Pictures has just acquired the rights to Marcus Sakey's forthcoming sci-fi/superhero novel Brilliance. The book is as follows:
In Wyoming, a little girl reads people’s darkest secrets by the way they fold their arms. In New York, a man sensing patterns in the stock market racks up $300 billion. Joe Roth and Palek Patel are set to produce the film, along side fellow producer Alex Hedlund.
