Last year according to Shock Till You Drop and Bloody Disgusting, movement on the third entry of the Jeepers Creepers series may finally be gearing up. STYD then went out of their way and reached out to director Victor Salva, who helmed both previous installments, and although nothing too big was revealed he did answer in a brief manner saying, “There may finally be some very good news for those waiting for the third Jeepers film to go before the cameras.” No info about the story was provided, but the plot is said to pit the first film’s survivor, Trish Jenner (Gina Phillips), against the awakening Creeper (Jonathan Breck) by teaming up with Jack Taggart Sr. (Ray Wise) to put an end to the creature’s reign of terror once for all, after having a recurring nightmare where her son, Darry (named after her brother), suffers the same fate as her brother did in the first film. Are you guys excited about this or do you think its been too long?

Back in early January, Gawker posted leaked excerpts of Quentin Tarantino’s script for The Hateful Eight. This led a furious Tarantino to shelve the project and it has been a roller coaster ride ever since with the Pulp Fiction director suing Gawker for “crossing the journalistic line” in sharing a link to his script. It was later reported this month by National Post that Tarantino’s lawsuit was thrown out. However, The Hateful Eight may now very well see the light of day after the writer-director went on to reveal that he will change some parts of the script. During, a star-studded live reading of the script at a hotel in LA on Saturday, April 19, the 51-year old filmmaker told the audience,  “I'm working on a second draft and I will do a third draft but we're reading from the first draft.”

Blake Lively’s The Age of Adaline has found its newest casting addition in Eyes Open Nevermore actor and impressionist Anthony Ingruber. Also starring are Blake Lively as Adaline, Ellen Burstyn as Flemming, and Harrison Ford as William. Ingruber is set to play a younger William. Previously, StarWars7news.com and Yahoo Movies UK reported that Ingruber was linked to Star Wars Episode VII after the actor made a series of tweets hinting at his involvement in a big secretive project only a few days after the official press release of Episode VII’s script completion and announcement that filming would commence in May was made.  This all turned out to be coincidental, but wishful thinking here, maybe Ford will support and recommend him as Han Solo for the Solo spin-off since he did just that back in 1989 for Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, recommending the late great River Phoenix for the young Indy.

Summary: A young woman, born at the turn of 20th century, is rendered ageless after an accident. After years of a solitary life, she meets a man who might be worth losing her immortality. Release is due in 2015.

And finally, here’s a poster for Insidious writer-actor Leigh Whannell’s newest comedy horror flick, Cooties. It was co-written by Whannell and Ian Brennan:

Summary: “A mysterious virus hits a small Illinois town, affecting only the prepubescent population, transforming them into violent, feral little monsters. The virus centralizes in the town’s elementary school, and quickly the infected students have the teaching staff under siege, acting out deadly revenge fantasies with an eerie sense of childlike glee. Finally, the teachers band together, led by a hapless substitute who grew up in the town, realizing they must do the unthinkable if they hope to survive.”
The film stars Elijah Wood, Alison Pill, Rainn Wilson, Jack McBrayer, and Jorge Garcia and is due for release on October 10, 2014.

I really hope Tarantino doesn't do a big-screen adaptation of The Hateful Eight. We've only got him for another 10 or so years so I rather him focus on moving ahead with the other ten original ideas he has in his head as opposed to spending his time with Django Unchained 2.0.

I also still want to see some type of Science Fiction movie from him, so . . .

Tarantino would be perfect for a Deadpool movie.

Just hope it goes back to its roots. Jeepers Creepers was the best, JC 2 wasn't nearly as good.
