In addition, Paramount recently screened 22 minutes of the movie, the train crash sequence I believe, and the reaction was very positive indeed. I really like the old school Spielberg vibe this is giving off. And have evey confidence that Abrams will deliver. Another one to look forward to.

"In the summer of 1979, a group of friends in a small Ohio town witness a catastrophic train crash while making a super 8 movie and soon suspect that it was not an accident. Shortly after, unusual disappearances and inexplicable events begin to take place in town, and the local Deputy tries to uncover the truth – something more terrifying than any of them could have imagined."

Super 8 hits June 10th.

VERY Spielberg-esque (circa 1982). I have faith in Abrams as a filmmaker, but like most of Spielberg's movies this movie looks geared toward a younger audience. I doubt I'll see it in theaters. It just doesn't excite me that much.

A friend saw a screen writers guild copy says it's amazing the scene with the train door smashing from within contains a six armed alien! The plot basically involves the military moving aliens by train to a new 'area 51' when one of the aliens rams the train in a suicide run to free the rest this unleashes a group of indestructable aliens....

I wonder if our friendly train passenger(s) might like Reeces Pieces?

Still, I have no hope for this movie IF there is no love triangle. I need LOVE, dammit!
