POLL: What Was Your Favorite CBM Of The Summer?

POLL: What Was Your Favorite CBM Of The Summer? POLL: What Was Your Favorite CBM Of The Summer?

We still have a few smaller comic book and CBM related movies to come (and Thor: The Datk World of course) this year, but all of the big summer blockbusters are finito. Which one did you think stood head and caped shoulders above the rest? Click to cast your vote.

NOTE: Although the likes of Pacific Rim and Elysium etc aren't "pure" comic book based films, we've covered them on CBM so they're included. We also left out R.I.P.D because..well, nobody seems to have seen it!

Instead of being so loose with the definition of "comic book movies" why don't we vote on our top action blockbusters?

didnt know Elysum and Pacifim Rim were comics.

In any case, my vote went to Man of steel. But I really liked PacificRim too.

I saw RIPD! Really liked that movie. Thought the chemistry between the two leads was great and that it was generally a entertaining and humorous movie. Don't know why it tanked. I would have voted for that had it been available, failing that, iron man.

If I know this site, the neverending pointless war will begin soon.... I'll just vote MOS and leave

Oh, you've covered them on the site therefore they are comic book movies? Why didn't you simply say which summer movies was your favourite? Nah, that's too logical.

The Dark Knight Returns and Flashpoint. DCU Animation blew me away this year

@Charlie2094

This is not a summer poll, he simply mistitled it. STID came out in MARCH, ergo I'm waiting for Thor to make my choice.

I hope not, because Man of Steel was moderately disappointing.

@Havenless Star Trek came out in May after Iron-Man 3 not March.

@knight3000

Go ahead, but I'm talking about Thor 2. New director from Game of Thrones, no origin story necessary, mostly on Asgard, post Avengers box office.

It would be a shock to the system if this movie doesn't dominate 2013.

You're right, I'm wrong. There was a huge mid-March movie I'm confusing it with then....

I'd give a slight edge to IM 3 by default in terms of CBM. Besides Elysium & Pacific Rim weren't Comic Books. But if you were saying favorite movie from the summer I'd go

WWZ
World's End
Pacific Rim
IM3
MoS

Man of Steel, Pacific Rim, Elysium, Star Trek into Darkness and The Wolverine where all great films.

Iron Man 3 was good but not the best and i was really looking forward to the film.

Apparently the Man of Steel is leading polls on other sites as well.

So, I guess that paper crumpling sound and smacking is RT Critics eating a bag of dicks.

I'm talking about Thor: The Dark world. Even Thor 1 was better received by critics than MOS lol xD Zack Snyder directed Sucker Punch, so i will take the prequels over Sucker Punch any day hahahha :)
