I called it. Well not in the sense I knew exactly but I pretty much knew from currently reading Knightfall-Knightend and completing the Hush-Pushback series that Bane was gonna be the villain. Tom Hardy plays "a key role" not confirmed as the main baddie imo. But it'd be sick if it was.
Also "confirmed", Star of the Devil wears Prada, The Princess Diaries, and Love and Other Drugs: Anne Hathaway attempts to show everyone she can be a better Selina than Michelle Phifer (Halle Berry's Catwoman was named Patience).
MY THOUGHTS
BANE SOUNDS INTERESTING FOR BATMAN'S LAST DAY OUT- CAUSE WE CAN ALMOST GUARANTEE ALMOST 90% THAT HE'S GONNA GET BROKEN. THUS THE TITLE SOUNDS A LITTLE PURR-FECT. CONSIDERING CAT-LADY COULD BE IN THIS AS WELL (GIGITY).
TWO REPRESENT CHARACTERS THAT WERE TARNISHED BY PREVIOUS FILMS BUT HONORED IN THEIR OWN RIGHT ON CANVAS. NOLAN RE-MASTERED JOKER IN A NEW CLOCKWORK ORANGE WAY SO THERES NO REASON IT WONT WORK NOW. (REFER TO CATWOMAN(2004), BATMAN AND ROBIN(1997).)
WE CAN CONCLUDE THAT NOLAN ASSUMED THE INCEPTION WIN WOULD LAND HIM A GOLDEN GLOBE-AND DURING HIS SPEECH HE WAS GOING TO REVEAL THE VILLAIN AND STEAL THE SHOW, BUT INCEPTION LOST SO HE TOLD EVERYONE-UNCEREMONIOUSLY HE HAD CHOSEN BANE, AND ANNE HATHAWAY(I ASSUME NO ONE HAS ANY PROBLEMS WITH TOM HARDY)
I WAS SKEPTICAL ABOUT CATWOMAN- A THIEF AND POSSIBLE LOVE INTEREST TO BATMAN BEING ABLE TO BE RELEVANT IN A BAT-FILM--JUST AS ANNE HATHAWAY IN A NOLAN FILM(SHE'S TOO YOUNG FOR BALE).
BUT THEN I SAW THIS--- 2:21 for her appearance, 3:27 for Batman.
IF YOU WATCH THE SKIT SHE IMPERSONATES KATIE HOLMES...AKA THE 1ST RACHEL. THEN THERE'S THE PLUG FOR BATMAN WHICH IS EVEN MORE IRONIC.
IMO-SOLD ON HER PORTRAYAL I WISH HER LUCK. (WE ALL MIGHT AGREE TOM HAS THIS ONE IN THE BAG?)
I'M ALMOST COMPLETELY SURE WE'LL GET THE COMIC(KNIGHTFALL) CHARACTER BANE AND STYLISTICALLY I WANNA SEE A COSTUME MIX OF ARKHAM AND THE BATMAN (tv series).
IMO--Hardy noted a key player, not officially the big bad though going off Knight series we know that ain't 100%. So My thought is this. If hardy is gonna BREAK the bat who's gonna heal him. In the comics he was healed by a black doctor, Alfred, and Robin. Will either be apart of this? Or can we safely assume Nolan's spin will be allthemore original like say introducing Thomas Elliot at Rachel's funeral. Considering he was the only one who could heal Bruce in the first arc of HUSH.(chasing Catwoman no doubt...)
(HINT-Nerd down: 2nd pannel he says Why ----- so Serious.)
RIGHT? SOUNDS GREAT FOR THE MAIN VILLAIN. Both Bane and Hush story lines involve tiring out batman and having Batman run through his rogues Gallery before facing them. Both involve Batman Broken. Both have the city in their hands. Considering the runaround we were given with villains- I've said it all the time sounds ike Hush's M.O. But before I get ahead of Myself-lets go with evidence...
Crazier than the JOKER, Deadlier than Ra's Al Ghoul sound about right?
William Fitchter was playing the seemingly overcasted Bank Manager. He spoke to Nolan to get this part and strangely enough had this to say:
"He told me a little bit about it and what it was and I thought it was really cool. [So] I thought, yeah, AS LONG as it's kind of an UNCREDITED thing, sure. It was really kind of one of those things, just sure, I'll be a SMALL PIECE of this PUZZLE."
Case solved he's comming back as the shotgun toting Bank Manager--if that is his real name or should I say Sionis... "Whatever doesn't kill you simply make you.." and we can all agree he survived the smoke. IMO it wasn't just Harvey Dent. In exchange for Hush lets see BM.
You know what happens when we fall, to bring it all back......
THE DARK KNIGHT RISES.
IN SPIDERMAN....
Dylan Baker was waved all over the previous screens as Doc Connors. But Rys Ifan will take his role in the Reboot as the Lizard..but has lizard ever had a "Plan" a goal. What motives. Its come to my attention we are under thinking the idea that he usually is a neutral force. Casted along side him is Irrfan Khan as Nels Van Adder? Who?
U remember Strom; scientist who created the goblin serum. Well many people know Nels as a villain known as ProtoGoblin. My gawd--they're pulling a Batman Begins! Lets hope to see the Proto-goblin on screen. Wiki him and check out the spider suit here on Comic-book Movie.com!
