Marvel Comics is sellin' out??? Well...kinda...

If Comic Book Shops increase their monthly order by 150% and then order 500 additional comics, they have the option of placing their Shop Name on the cover of Amazing Spiderman #666.

Admittedly, this is more like a fan service than blatant advertisement...but Marvel is still selling ad space on the cover of Spider-man!!! They've done it before, and they'll do it again, but thankfully this time it's cool...and not some stupid Hostess Tie-in (anyone remember Hulk vs. Twinkies???)

I think this is really cool. If I got my comics from this store, I'd be pretty dang proud that we were on the cover of ASM. I wouldn't call this selling out.

Also, I'm digging the AXM poster in the back.

You see: your title and description were very misleading. It made me think that they were just going to put random sponsors like Raid or OFF! on it. I like what you did.

Spider-man sold out a LONG time ago. Just look at all the merchandise he has created for Marvel and Sony. With the new game and tv show coming, along with the movie theres plenty more whoring for the Web head
