■The word "Hadouken" is never vocalized in the film, though the attack is used several times.
■Professor Sadler replaces M. Bison as the antagonist and Charlie is never seen. Although Sagat's name is mentioned, he does not make an appearance.
■Although she is wearing her Alpha outfit in the movie, Chun-Li's design and color schemes are slightly different than the games. Her schemes consist of red, green and yellow, instead of the actual blue and yellow.

Triva
■Akuma makes a cameo appearance in the movie, sitting against a wall in Calcutta shortly before the assassination attempt. however, Fullscreen versions cut him out.
■When Ken is driving on the highway, and is about to go head on with a semi-truck, the Capcom logo can be seen on its side.
■While the name of Ryu and Ken's master is never spoken on-screen, it appears printed as "Goutetsu" when Ryu's and Ken's profiles are compared on a monitor. In the games' continuity, Gouken is Ryu and Ken's master, while Goutetsu is actually Gouken and Akuma's teacher.
■During the English credits, Cammy's and Dee Jay's names are spelled "Cammie" and "DJ" respectively.
■In the Japanese version before the battle between Chun-Li and Vega, Chun-Li is shown completely nude while taking a shower in her apartment, which was later added back in the uncut DVD.
■At the end of the credits to the Japanese version, a small announcement about the live action Street Fighter movie is shown, with a "Spring 1995" release for Japan

Street Fighter 2. More faithful and just has a better story. Alpha was pretentious and boring.

Alpha was boring as hell. I liked the animation but that was about it. Street Fighter 2 is the BEST of the Street Fighter moives or cartoon series. Id like to see a live action based around this story.
