Mattel is bringing out a DC Universe World's Greatest Superheroes Wave One Action Figures line due for release in March 2010, and guess what, DC Universe is going retro! Old is new! Classic characters with a classic feel. Mego style!

Wave One contains a set of four figures of The World's Greatest Superheroes. This is the following (subject to change):

1x Superman

1x Lex Luthor

1x Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)

1x Sinestro

Each action figure is individually packaged and stands 8-inches tall in the yes, classic MEGO-style packaging, how cool is that?



Also update on the Super Friends Season 1 Volume 1 DVD set:



There's over 20 minutes of bonus content complete with extra footage of the Super Friends series and a interactive trivia game featuring everyone's favorite DC Superheroes.

The eight action-packed episodes are titled as follows:

The MEGO World's Greatest Super-Heroes line were my favorite action figures until He-Man came out in '81! Those toys used to blow my mind! They had real fabric clothing that was removable and were heavily articultated. Aaaah...great memories!
