- Sorry in advance if this was already posted.-
I saw this article is dated like a month ago but I don't remember it ever being a big story on CBM and I think it should be. Because The Goon kicks ass and these two voice actors are 100% perfect for the roles.
Here's the story from Empiremovies.com:
Another announcement made at Comic-Con last week - Paul Giamatti and Clancy Brown will be the voices for the upcoming animated movie based on the comic book series The Goon. The announcement was made during an entertaining panel that featured series creator Eric Powell. The upcoming movie will be produced by David Fincher. There’s no word yet on who will direct. What and who is The Goon you may ask? Here is what I was able to grab from Wikipedia:
The story is about the adventures of the Goon, a muscle-bound brawler who claims to be the primary enforcer for the feared mobster Labrazio. The Goon (and his sidekick Franky) often get tied up in other machinations, often in relation to the evil zombie gangs under the command of the Nameless Zombie Priest.
The series has a distinctly paranormal slant with the average story concerning ghosts, ghouls, skunk-apes with an unnatural hunger for pie, extra-dimensional aliens, and mad scientists.
Clancy Brown will voice The Goon and Paul Giamatti will be Franky. Animated footage was presented at the panel with both men supplying their voices to the characters.

The movie is slated for a 2010 release.
