Several new character posters for director Scott Stewart's (Legion) latest movie, Priest, were recently released, along with a new banner poster. Priest, which blends the superhero, horror, and Western genres, is loosely based on the Korean comic book of the same name by Min-Woo Hyung and centers on a warrior priest (Paul Bettany) who disobeys church law to track down a coven of vampire outlaws who have kidnapped his niece. Cam Gigandet, Karl Urban, Stephen Moyer, and Maggie Q also star.

Priest opens May 13, 2011

Kind of burned out on vampire movies, but I like the cast so I'll probably give this one a shot.

Well, not all films with character posters suck. I mean Pulp Fiction had them! Kick Ass..most super hero or comic based films. Even TDK in a way. But the ones with the big in your face super imposed shots like this..yeah they do tend to suck!

I think the premise sounds cool. I think I'll wait for a trailer before I make up my mind though.
