John Malkovich Signs On For Red

Reported at THR's Heat Vision, John Malkovich has signed on for yet another comic book movie, DC comics adaptation Red. Looks like John is getting that comic book itch with the recent news of him playing the Vulture and also appearing in Jonah Hex as well.

Already cast in Red based on the Warren Ellis's comic series is Hollywood heavyweights Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis and Helen Mirren and now it looks like John Malkovich has come to the fold.

John C. Reilly, exited from the role Malkovich has just got in late December. The part Malkovich is playing is a retired a CIA agent, a contemporary of Willis', who is erratic and paranoid that everyone is out to kill him and joins Willis in is quest to find out who wants them dead.

Red is the tale of a retired black-ops agent (Bruce Willis) who must contend with younger, more high-tech assassins who show up to try and kill him.

Directed by Robert Schwenke and also starring Mary-Louise Parker, Julian McMahon, Richard Dreyfuss, Ernest Borgnine and Brian Cox.

Principal photography begins this week in Toronto.

LEEE777 - Don't know about you, but I can't get enough of these DC movies coming out. Exciting times.

Seriously what is Morgan Freeman not in these days? lol but yeah this is turning out like Thor bringing in some talented actors for a comic book adaption. It's good to see the studios finally paying some respect to books and not just putting in actors who are popular with the kids.

I think this is great. It could be a good thing. I dont think john has been in a lot of action films which might be what could make him tick more than we know. So far the roles hes done show him as a regular guy. Only recently in burn after reading did he get very angry and physical. That is my experience at least. I just hope he can do it all physically.

The United States, effectively neutral during World War II's early stages after Nazi Germany's invasion of Poland in September 1939, began supplying materiel to the Allies in March 1941 through the Lend-Lease program. On December 7, 1941, the Empire of Japan launched a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor, prompting the United States 642-373 to join 650-393 the Allies against 70-685 the Axis powers 642-681 as well as the 1Y0-A09 internment of MB2-631 Japanese 642-631 Americans by the thousands.[39] Participation 642-982 in the war spurred capital 646-985 investment and industrial HP0-S25 capacity. Among the major HP2-E32 combatants, the United States was the 000-200 only nation to become richer—indeed, 70-270 far richer—instead of poorer 642-661 because of the war.[40] Allied 646-230 conferences at Bretton Woods and 640-460 Yalta outlined a new system of SK0-002 international organizations 642-415 that placed the United States 642-611 and Soviet Union at the center JN0-304 of world affairs. As victory was won in Europe, a 1945 international conference held in San Francisco produced the United Nations Charter, which became active after the war.[41] The United States, test king having developed the first nuclear weapons, used them on the Japanese cities of Hiroshima and Nagasaki in August. Japan surrendered on September 2, ending the war.
