Red is the story of Frank Moses (Willis), a former black-ops CIA agent, who is now living a quiet life. That is until the day a hi-tech assassin shows up intent on killing him. With his identity compromised and the life of the woman he cares for, Sarah (Mary-Louise Parker), endangered, Frank reassembles his old team (Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren) in a last ditch effort to survive. Also in the cast are Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, Ernest Borgnine, Julian McMahon, James Remar and Rebecca Pidgeon.

John Malcovich would have been an awesome Vulture, was great as Turbull though Jonah Hex sucked, and his screen-time in the trailer is hilarious.

This is the year of spec ops/CIA teams coming together to take down the shadowy government agency that used to employ them, and a throwback to 80's real action hero flicks and none of the anti-hero or teen hero crap that we see. I want to see stuff blow up and people get shot in my action films and WWE films with wrestlers turned "actors" aren't cutting it for my action fix in movies, to bad that we don't have a younger generation of action heroes in the mix to make these films. That said I want to see this just based on the actors and the trailer but of course I liked the A-Team, The Losers and plan on seeing the Expendables as well.
