POWER RANGERS BEAST MORPHERS Season 2 Trailer Sees The Original Red Ranger Austin St. John Get Back To Action
Hasbro has dropped a kickass new Power Rangers trailer, offering a new look at the return of Austin St. John as the original Red Ranger and confirming that the 2021 season will adapt Ryusoulger!
To kickoff their annual New York Toy Fair presentation this past weekend, Hasbro debuted a brand new trailer for Power Rangers Beast Morphers season two, offering an extended look at the coming year as well as official confirmation that the twenty-eighth season of the long-running action series, set to air in 2021, will adapt Kishiryu Sentai Ryusoulger.
The action-packed new trailer also offers a fresh look at the return of original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers star Austin St. John as the legendary Red Ranger, Jason Lee Scott, and previews his involvement in the season's big crossover episode, which will see the Mighty Morphin, Dino Thunder and Dino Charge teams partner up with the Beast Morphers team to take on their most dangerous adversary yet.
While it doesn't look like any of St. John's former MMPR co-stars nor any members of the Dino Thunder cast will join him for the big reunion, there are a few other special guest stars that will appear in the special episode as Dino Charge actors Brennan Mejia (Red), James Davies (Black), Yoshi Sudarso (Blue) and Davi Santos (Gold) have all now been confirmed to reprise their roles.
Jason originally debuted in Mighty Morphin Power Rangers before leaving midway through the second season due to contract disputes. He later returned to play the fan-favorite Gold Ranger in Power Rangers Zeo and also appeared in Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie before making his last appearance in the Power Rangers Wild Force ten-year anniversary episode, "Forever Red."
Scientists combine a substance called “Morph-X” with animal DNA to create the Power Rangers Beast Morphers. The Rangers must fight off an evil computer virus bent on taking over the source of Ranger power, the Morphin Grid.
