New STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI Promo Posters Feature The Dark Side And The Light (Plus, Plenty Of Porgs)

A new batch of promo posters for Star Wars: The Last Jedi have been revealed and they offer up a fresh look at both the movie's heroes and villains. The question is, whose side are you going to be on?

Star Wars: The Last Jedi is less than two months away and while there are rumblings that we're getting one more sneak peek (a 90-second international trailer was classified earlier this week and should hit soon), a new batch of promo posters have found their way online in the meantime. As you can see below, those put the spotlight on both the heroes and villains with a whole heap of adorable Porgs

Beyond that, these posters don't reveal much about the movie but that shouldn't come as too much of a surprise. Disney and Lucasfilm have been keeping the plot under wraps since day one and The Last Jedi hasn't suffered from anywhere near the same number of leaks as The Force Awakens did in 2015.

The signs are pointing to Star Wars: The Last Jedi being a box office smash and while Han Solo is coming out between them, the movie fans are really excited for is Episode IX, a release that J.J. Abrams will be at the helm of. Which of these posters is your favourite? Share your thoughts down below.

Well at least R2 is part of the promotion. Let's hope we see more R2 in this one. Not Star Wars without C-3PO and R2.

Looks like Rey is about to "drop the mic" in that second pic. Stupid way to hold a lightsaber.

Those are great, minus the overuse of Furbies - I mean Porgs. God, I already hate them more than the Ewoks.

I'm guessing that Porgs were inspired by the Ixlls in "Dark Empire".

@Omegacron - Damn, good call. I had never even heard of these.

Omegacron

@L0RDbuckethead - Yep, that's them. They were semi-intelligent, kind of like dolphins riding on the crest of incoming/outgoing ships. No idea how much of that will translate to Porgs, obviously, but the appearance seems to be a direct inspiration if nothing else.

@Omegacron - Yeah the head shape and fur pattern are very similar. Good eye.
