STAR WARS EPISODE VII To Resume Production Later This Month

When it was revealed that Harrison Ford had broken his leg on the Millennium Falcon set of all places, production on Star Wars Episode VII was seemingly thrown into disarray. However, it has now been revealed that shooting will soon resume after a brief hiatus! Read on for details!

Those of you fretting about the possibility that Star Wars Episode VII would be delayed as a result of Harrison Ford's recent injury can sleep a little easier tonight as The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that filming will resume later this month. It was reported a little while ago that they would be taking a short break to compensate for the lack of Han Solo - who apparently plays a major role in the movie - but the hiatus has lasted for only two weeks and Disney and Lucasfilm are still gearing up for a December 18th, 2015 release. Ford is now said to be in good health after surgery, and he will likely return to the UK to resume shooting soon (though sources could not confirm this). Star Wars Episode VII also stars Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew and Kenny Baker, as well as series newcomers John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.
