The official Alien: Covenant Twitter account has debuted a new image from Ridley Scott's sci-fi sequel, giving us a look at the entire cast, which includes the likes of Katherine Waterston, Michael Fassbender, Danny McBride, Demián Bichir, and Billy Crudup.

You might recall recent rumors that James Franco also had a role in the film, and sure enough the Spider-Man actor can be seen right in the center the group - most of whom will almost certainly wind up as xenomorph fodder before the credits roll.

It's also been announced that we'll be getting a new Alien: Covenant promo tomorrow night during FX's Legion. We're not sure if this will a TV spot or a clip, but be sure to check back tomorrow to find out.

“Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world — whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.”

Alien: Covenant stars Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston, Demien Bichir and Danny McBride, and is set to hit theaters on August 4, 2017.

@RorMachine

James Franco's involvement has been confirmed since the first trailer; he was the guy who died at the beginning.

Meh. Same old, same old.

Always the same characters in these movies. We got the strong heroine with the Ripley haircut. And (of course) we've got the "guy with a cowboy hat"/plucky comic relief. There's always a cowboy on these crews. Never fails. Prometheus, The Abyss

I would have preferred that they made the follow up to Aliens with me and Ripley in it.
