The Book of Eli revolves around a lone warrior (Denzel Washington) who has to fight to bring knowledge to society that could be the only key to its redemption. Oldman has been set to portray the despot of a small makeshift town who's determined to take possession of the book Eli's guarding.

Denzel Washington has no trouble throwing his machete around, so humanity sounds pretty safe and all the rag-tag survivors gotta wear shades, the post apocalyptic future never looked so bright.


The Warner Bros. release stars Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman, Ray Stevenson, Jennifer Beals and Evan Jones. Oh and Mila Kunis!

Directed by the Hughes Brothers and opens in theaters on January 15th 2010.

this trailer was on surrogates. just saw it tonight (check out my review). the movie looks cool. defeinately out of character for denzel. mila kunis is in it too. which is frigen awesome.
