C2 Entertainment Developing Dana Valentine: Brains, Beauty and Bullets!

The series, written and illustrated by Daniel Cooney for Red Eye Press, centers on a female contract killer and explores the impact of her morally questionable profession, which makes her a liability to everyone she has met, in addition to herself.

The Valentine catalog includes 12 issues of the comic books and three trade paperback graphic novels Fully Loaded, Red Rain and The Killing Moon. A fourth graphic novel is set to be published later this year.

C2 Entertainment is planning for a $25 million to $30 million production budget for the live-action movie and are apparently in discussions with potential screenwriters and directors.

I've never even heard of this but the story sounds interesting enough...not a huge budget though which isnt really a good thing in this type of movie!

MULTI: I didnt notice that it originally came from Variety when I posted it sorry! Unfortunately, I cant alter the article now it's on the main page. However, I've done hundreds of news articles for CBM now and always sourced them back to wherever I found them regardless of whether that is where they were originally from, and no one has ever said there was a problem with that!?

Man this shiet sounds like Alias on the big screen. Jennifer Garner is pretty hot though so if they can get her they'll definitely have my attempts at bootlegging sealed.
