Ahead of tomorrow's eagerly awaited trailer debut, Lionsgate has shared three stunning new posters for Doug Liman's Chaos Walking, featuring fresh shots of stars Tom Holland (Spider-Man: Far From Home; Avengers: Endgame) and Daisy Ridley (Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker; Murder on the Orient Express) as they partner up to uncover the mysteries of the Noise.

The upcoming film is an adaptation of Patrick Ness' The Knife of Never Letting Go, the first novel in his Chaos Walking trilogy, although it's uncertain at this point whether the film will spawn sequels or if it'll be a one-off. Ness also served as a co-writer on the screenplay with Christopher Ford (Spider-Man: HomecomingCop Car).

In addition to Holland and Ridley, the ensemble cast features Mads Mikkelsen (Doctor Strange; Fantastic Beasts 3), Demián Bichir (The Hateful EightGodzilla vs. Kong), Cynthia Erivo (Bad Times at the El Royale; Harriet), Nick Jonas (Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle; Jumanji: The Next Level), Kurt Sutter (Sons of AnarchyThe Shield), and David Oyelowo (SelmaThe Midnight Sky).

Chaos Walking is currently slated to open in theaters worldwide on January 22, 2021; but that's likely subject to change due to the status of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. It's also possible the film could skip theaters entirely and head straight to video sometime early next year, but that's just speculation for now.

Check out the new photos and posters below, and check back in on Thursday morning at 9 AM EST for the full-length trailer!

In the not too distant future, Todd Hewitt (Tom Holland) discovers Viola (Daisy Ridley), a mysterious girl who crash lands on his planet, where all the women have disappeared and the men are afflicted by 'the Noise' – a force that puts all their thoughts on display. In this dangerous landscape, Viola’s life is threatened – and as Todd vows to protect her, he will have to discover his own inner power and unlock the planet’s dark secrets.

The movie could be decent but the trailer that leaked a while back made it look like a generic YA movie from 2014. My sisters read these books and told me that they're amazing. I don't have much of an interest.
