@nordberg - Can't wait for Goldblum to tell us, "Water... is wet," in a really dramatic way.

@Luminus - LOL! I think he follows the Walken approach to speaking his lines; removing all punctuation from the script.

@nordberg - When an actor/actress develope their own unique style of acting...they standout and become more popular and more mimicked than others like:

James Cagney
Will Shatner
Clint
Edward G Robinson
Al Pacino
Robert DeNiro
and yes....Chris Walkens to name a few!!!

The first one has always been a guilty pleasure for me, but this one just looks like a friggin blast. It also helps that I am a big Goldbloom fan, not to mention Judd Hirsch. Those 2 together were my favorite thing about the original.

Also Will Smith being dead in this movie is a selling point for me.

@BatesMT - This looks like even more shitty Transformers style.

@Omega - Don't look at it on the surface. The first one had a lot of charm mainly because of the characters. We are getting almost all those characters back, including Dr. Okun! As I said, the first one is a guilty pleasure. Not a good movie by any means but still dumb fun. I am expecting more of that and then some from this movie.

Wonder how much money they had to pay Will Smith to use that photo in this movie?

The President's speech in the original is the most frakkin epic speech ever. Period.

@nordberg - Yeah anything by Trey Parker and Matt Stone is great, but ID's speech is so bad it's hilarious, and it's not even intentional.
nordberg
nordberg - 4/22/2016, 7:27 AM
@jj2112 - Yeah, it's pretty effing awful, especially coming from poor President Bill Pullman, who so wants to be in a better movie and is anything but bombastic.

@TheNerdGuy - I was either 11 or 12 when it came out and I watched it in the cinema, it was a good fun film, and Will Smith was charming in it.
Goldblum played the geek who saved the day.
