The BBC have released a new batch of promo photos for the upcoming Christmas special, and they feature some great new shots of plenty of classic Doctor Who villains that Matt Smith will be facing off against in his final appearance as the iconic Doctor in "The Time of the Doctor".

This could be a very interesting episode- one that finally deals with the regeneration limits of Time Lords.

I honestly can't wait to see Capaldi. I just hate I have to wait a year to get the full picture of his Doctor.

Hopefully the writers will reveal more on the "limits" of regeneration immediately after the ep airs.
