Misha Collins, star of Supernatural as the angel Castiel, has posted a tweet stating that he will announce something exciting tomorrow. Furthermore, with the news that Matt Smith is departing the long-running show and regenerating this Christmas, the Twelfh Doctor will be announced tomorrow. He also added saying that it would involve the UK and phone-booths.

Coincidence? I'm not one to believe in them.

An American as the Doctor? Nope. Don't see it happening. Excpet an announcement about a UK set Supermantural episode or maybe something to do with the greenlit spin-off (which also might take things abroad).

Peter Capaldi looks like the love child of Doc Brown and Mister Rogers. A younger Doctor would be better. Someone that can some action scenes without breaking a hip. Plus we've had plenty of older Doctors.

I don't think he's gonna be the next Doctor Who, not with his commitments to Supernatural. He's probably just messing with his fans.

I think.
I mean, he's got a big role on Supernatural this season, directing an episode and being a series regular - unless filming for those two are at different times.

I was born and raised in the UK, and I wouldn't mind if we had an american doctor. He's a freaking alien after all!!! He's not british or born in england. The same goes for Superman, he's an alien. Get over it people!
