Why is that a bad thing? I'm tired of movies made for childrens. More R-rated movies!

Sometimes there is not much difference between some Rated Rs and some PG-13s... It's really based on the mood of the judges and if they like you or have some sort of beef with you.

Why do you hate to say it? Most people assume an R rating means an uncompromising final edit of the film.

TelaVizion is right though. The Wolverine could have easily been rated R. The line between the two ratings gets real fuzzy some times

To the guy who wrote the article, what the hell? You don't WANT this movie to be rated R? It's [frick]ing awesome when big studio movies, with A list actors are rated R. It opens the door for more movies to be commercially released.

You're clearly the guy who posts all the information about the Smurfs movies, are you?

Can't wait to see it. My dad took me to nearly every R rated action movie when I was a kid.
It was awesome!

I knew movies were fake.
Violence & nudity never adversely affected me.

More R rated movies are needed...watered down PG-13 is chickenshit.

And why do you hate to say it\s rated R? You wanted to see the movie but can't know because your daddy won't take to an R Rated movie?

And yeah Wolverine could easily have been rated R. A bit more blood from when he stabs them, a few stronger swears added in and there you go.

I am thrilled it is R this means it did not have to get changed to be more of a family film. District 9 was R so I wanted this movie to be too & it will which is great.

I love that the movie is rated R, but most of you who bitch about the rating don't actually go out and see them, and therefore the movie makes less money and sequel potential is severely reduced.
