Forget JUSTICE LEAGUE; THE DARK TOWER Featured On The Cover Of EW's Comic-Con Special
We're used to seeing a major upcoming superhero movie featured on the cover of EW's SDCC special, but this year it's the big screen adaptation of The Dark Tower which has been given the spotlight...
Like most of you, I assumed that one of 2017's superhero movies would be featured on Entertainment Weekly's Comic-Con cover. While it was hard to say for sure which one it would be, Justice League seemed like a strong possibility, as did the likes of Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2 and Wonder Woman. However, the privilege has instead gone to the upcoming big screen adaptation of The Dark Tower.
The site adds that they'll be revealing images and details from the movie, "showing the vast plains of Mid-World, the shadowy Dixie Pig hideaway of the demons who infest our world, and the visions of a boy named Jake Chambers who is either the key to saving the mythic Tower or the instrument of its destruction." There will also be interviews with Idris Elba, Matthew McConaughey, and Stephen King.
Directed by Nikolaj Arcel, The Dark Tower is currently set to be released on February 17th, next year.
