Following the recent opening of J.J. Abrams' latest,
Super 8, the television rights have already been acquired.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that FX - which recently gained the rights to
X-Men: First Class - has received the rights to the film, possibly to be aired in a couple years or so.
FX has acquired the commercial television rights to Super 8, the J.J. Abrams-Steven Spielberg team-up.
Super 8, starring Kyle Chandler, Joel Courtney and Elle Fanning, centers on a sleepy town in Ohio and a group of friends who make a super-8 film by the train tracks -- capturing a mysterious creature that escapes and wreaks havoc.
