James Cameron says its time to finally confine himself in Top secret writing cave to begin a serious writing approach to Avatar sequels.

“It’s a little bit of a daunting writing task because it’s two scripts and they’ve both gotta be done at the same time,”

The Director also says he doesn't want it to suffer the same fate as matrix 2

“I’m writing it as separate stories that have an overall arc inclusive of the first film,I don’t want to suffer from the ‘Matrix 2′ problem, where it just ends, like, what the hell? It’s gotta end. There’s gotta be a sense of conclusion, but also a sense that the journey will continue, and that’s a fine line.”

Speaking of the technology that will be used for sequels, Cameron said “It was this kludgy prototype the first time,We always knew as we were going along, this isn’t really working, but we’ll fix it for the sequel. The first film just about killed us, and now we’re gonna try to do twice that much.”

About the filming schedule,The director says he expects to start shooting both sequels back to back in January 2013, with the first sequel expected for a 2015 release.

Well why doesn't he just rip off another movie and add a gimmick so to trick people into thinking this is something original. Worked for the first one.

He says it's hard but the first film wasn't exactly a complex story, and it wasn't even an original story lol

I'd be willing to pay to see a film where Pocahontas and Nightcrawler take revenge on Avitar

It's a daunting task because there's no more story to tell...

Maybe it'd be easier to write a script if they take Pocahontas 2 , that straight to video movie, and draw it out by filling it with nonsense.

Or maybe they can make it some epic journey for an even newer element called HardToFind-xygen.

seriously...why the need to continue this UN-original lame story..?? what's da point? cameron needs to DREAM another original ass-kicking story like he did with the first Terminator. what happened to him? he used to be an awesome filmmaker. sure, technically, he keeps going forward to find more groundbreaking filmmaking techniques..but, if the story ain't on the same par..who gives a s**t?? well, apparently, those who kept coming back to see Avatar gazillion times. what a shame.

The Terminator and Aliens are two of the best 80's movies, if not of all time, for me. Abyss got potential. T2's a super beginning to all current hi-tech blockbusters and true lies..well, that's just one big racist silly outing (most likely to help financed his beloved Titanic, which is by the way's the beginning of the end).

Oh come on, we all know its going to be the same plot as the first Avatar which was basically a wild west cowboys vs indians movie in space.

Heck, even the bad guy from the first film might be returning due to 'cloning' along with the female person who died. Its so unrememberable that i cannot even remember the names of the cast :L

Only good thing about Avatar was the CGI, though even that was hyper-real
