Ooooh, not good. I didn't really think it looked like much anyway to be honest, still, between that and Whiteout, these more obscure CBM adaps would really w3ant to start delivering.

They have a golden opp to bring in some box office gold. Hollywood knows the only movies making real money at the box office is ComicBookMovies. Now if they can just make the lesser known CBM's with a little quality, and stay true to the source material, like Iron Man, then the "yeah it wasnt that great" statement wouldnt happen to movies like Whiteout, or in this case The Surrogates

We saw it last night. It was ok. Fun to watch, but it seemed like the deeper connotations of the story weren't even hinted about. The drama they were talking about was there but it was treated like a minor detail, when it maybe should have been the most important thing.
Like.. being disconnected from reality isn't anywhere near as bad as being disconnected from ones loved ones. That's the part that really hurts.
Ving Rhames was cool.

We found ourselves wishing we had hit Pandorum instead lol

LEEE777, Whiteout is like that except without an monsters or vampires lol

Except for the harsh survival aspect that one is virtually non - substantive

@jman1977: Thanks jman, you have saved another person from probably seeing "The Surrogates". Me, my friend, and my brother were going to go see the "Meatballs" movie when we thought of seeing Surrogates instead. We're not at the theatres yet but just to let the time pass I went on this site and whatya know? My money was saved by a coomicbookmovie fan. Probably will go to see the "Meatballs" movie. Thanks, appreciate it.

That's pretty much what I said. If your lookin for yippy ki ya Bruce Willis this ain't it. Reminded me alot of unbreakable. More drama and deep thinking stuff than fighting. Same here. And i agree we've seen the story about disconnecting with humanity blah blah blah several times before.

It was pretty good but the original comic book ending is changed to a I am Legend happy ending unfortunately which was a bit disappointing. But Rosamund Pike is smoking hot, scar or not

Wasn't the worst movie I've seen, but far from anything good.
