It appears that the first trailer for Andrew Stanton's John Carter will debut on the 14th, to be attached to the new Harry Potter flick. Check out the details after the jump!

We Are Movie Geeks is reporting that the teaser trailer for John Carter - which will be Pixar regular Andrew Stanton's live action film debut - will be online this Thursday on the 14th. The trailer will be attached to Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 2, joining trailers for Sherlock Holmes 2 and The Dark Knight Rises.

File this one under “just a head’s up.” The first trailer for director Andrew Stanton’s JOHN CARTER will bow this Thursday, July 14. Come back in two days to see the trailer for the film that is based on Edgar Rice Burroughs’ first novel, “A Princess of Mars.”

From what I've read this is going to be good. I hope the visuals are what I'm hoping for.

Nice, kinda worried people are going to call it knock off of Avatar or all the other sci fi movies with out realising that this is essentially the gran daddy of modern sci fi. A lot of the elements from the books were used movies. Hope it doesn't effect it too badly, coz I really see this succeed.

@Jazzywazzy well it is the biggest movie of the year so it makes sense that a lot of movie trailers are going to be attached to it
