We've seen literally just seconds of footage from Godzilla vs. Kong, and after the movie's release date was moved from Memorial Day weekend to this March, fans couldn't help but ask why a trailer hasn't been released. Thankfully, that now looks set to change, as Legendary Pictures just dropped an awesome teaser poster and confirmation that the trailer drops on Sunday.
As you can see, Godzilla emerges from the sea, while Kong - who has grown an awful lot since we last saw him - stands in a city, clearly ready for the fight that's about to ensue.
If what little we've seen from Godzilla vs. Kong is any indication, it's going to be an epic clash, and one fans have been waiting a long time to see with modern visual effects. Adam Wingard (The Guest) is in the director's chair, and he's previously teased that there will be a definitive winner in the movie.
That begs one very simple question: whose side are you on?
Whatever your answer is, it's fair to say this trailer will be a must-watch, especially as it should give us an idea of what to expect from the crossover event before it arrives in theaters (?) and on HBO Max.
