I've been trying to wrap my mind around the King Kong v Godzilla match up that is going to be upon us in the future in regards to how these two monsters will stack up. From press reports, it was stated that Kong will be approx. 100 ft tall. Between that and eyeballing the trailer, I have represented below the size up of our two monsters. This is of course approximate and not to exact scale.
I am concerned because if they keep Kong the same size, he will have no chance to beat Godzilla. I am hoping that they introduce some kind of growing agent to Kong between the 1970's era (when the movie is set) and when he finally meets Godzilla. This could be the 'serum' they are after that is on the island in the Kong movie, or perhaps some sort of radiation contamination. Either of which somehow makes Kong grow more.
Or they just shrink Godzilla and not even explain it.
Otherwise, Godzilla will mop the floor with him.
