According to Deadline, the pilot, which was written on spec by Kring, centers on a father (the role that would be played by Sutherland) who discovers that his autistic, mute son can predict events before they happen.

It was expected that both Sutherland and Kring would see their signature series revived, 24 as a feature film and Heroes as a possible TV movie, but nothing has developed on either front.
