With the simultaneous ceremonies scheduled to be held February 17th in Los Angeles and New York, the nominees for the Writers Guild Awards have officially been announced. Most of the nominations aren't very surprising, but in the "Original Screenplay" category, director Rian Johnson's script for his critically acclaimed sci-fi thriller
Looper has received a nod. The film, which stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Bruce Willis, has been campaigning for Best Original Screenplay at the Academy Awards. Fingers crossed that the script will be nominated for an Oscar.
