Natalie Dormer's star is most definitely on the rise, with her role as camerawoman Cressida in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 marking her biggest movie part to date. Round these parts she's probably more familiar as Margery Tyrell in Game Of Thrones, but many fans hope there's a big comic book movie role somewhere in her future. While speaking to Flicks And The City, Dormer discusses her character, shaving her head, working with Jennifer Lawrence and much more. Plus, we have some snaps from her photoshoot with the New York Post for you too, 'cos we're nice like that. Be sure to watch the rest of the cast interviews at the link below.

The worldwide phenomenon of The Hunger Games continues to set the world on fire with The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, which finds Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) in District 13 after she literally shatters the games forever. Under the leadership of President Coin (Julianne Moore) and the advice of her trusted friends, Katniss spreads her wings as she fights to save Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and a nation moved by her courage. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is directed by Francis Lawrence from a screenplay by Danny Strong and Peter Craig and produced by Nina Jacobson’s Color Force in tandem with producer Jon Kilik. The novel on which the film is based is the third in a trilogy written by Suzanne Collins that has over 65 million copies in print in the U.S. alone.

"Yellow Flicker Beat" is the lead track on the soundtrack for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 1, which will be released via Republic Records later this year. Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Donald Sutherland, Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Stanley Tucci, Natalie Dormer, and Julianne Moore, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1 is set to be released on November 21st.

Stunning.
Marvel totally wasted her. She's be amazing with DC.
I could totally see her as Cheetah.

Or even Selina Kyle.

@InfiniteMonkey I'm pretty sure Marvel can forget that she was in the first Cap film. She's on fire right now and Marvel is known to strike on actors who are hot right now.

For anyone unfamiliar with the NY Post wondering why a newspaper would do a sexy photoshoot, the Post is basically America's version of The Sun. Both owned by Rupert Murdoch, what a coincidence.

However, when the Post runs photos of celebrity nipslips and upskirts they put little stars over the naughty bits. We New Yorkers are classy like that.

She needs to have a bigger role in a CBM, we could collectively forget about her 15 seconds in Cap if it got her a leading role, right guys?

Wait, the New York Post does photoshoots?

Anyways, she is very beautiful. Even though her role in CA:TFA was a small cameo, she was memorable.

@mgeoff88 It was only memorable cos she stole Cap's first kiss and Peggy caught them, it could've been any girl they cast. I only realized it was her after someone told me.

@GrilledPopcorn I guess you have a point, but I wouldn't say it would be the same if any girl was cast.

She owned that scene. It feel like she really wanted Cap, you know? Maybe I'm romanticizing it a bit due to how I felt the first time I watched the movie.

Cherry does speak the truth though. Her small cameo does prevents her from appearing in a future MCU movie. So she was wasted.

Thinking about the big picture, I would've rather Marvel Studios cast Natalie Dormer as an established character instead of hiring just for a small cameo.

I'm stunned she's wearing so much clothing. I'm more used to seeing her naked at this point in her career. No complaints there

Dormer's eyes are so entrancing, like I would still look at her body while "fonduing" with her, but I would probably look into her eyes more often than I would with most girls. That being said, her role in Captain America: TFA was so small that nobody would even bat an eye if Marvel were to cast her in a much larger role. Her star is rising so I have a feeling that she's gonna end up in a CBM sooner than later, be it Marvel or DC.

I love the people trying to downplay Dormer's looks. Yeah......we're all impressed with your ability to denigrate a woman's looks on a comic book website. Of course, you would only make that comment because you get hotter women. That IS what we're supposed to take from that comment, right?

*begins slow clap*

You're so cool, Brewster!

@Assassing

Nice retort but comments like his don't affect me because I don't allow them to.

@TheBad

I would suggest you take your own advice about thinking before you speak, as my comment was addressed to EVERYONE making the comments but you decided to make it all about you. I also suggest that you buy a dictionary to learn the difference between an opinion and a fact, as you seem to be struggling with the concept. I'm glad that you feel the need to let us all know that she "wouldn't catch your eye" but you're projecting when you say "or anyone else". You don't have the basis to form that statement or speak for everyone else, though the egotism of your comment suggests that this isn't the first time that you've been told that. Like your preconceived and incorrect assumption that I only think that she's hot because I "saw her in a movie". Firstly, the only film I've seen her in is Captain America so, nice try but you're going to pull your back out reaching like that. Once again, you're taking your preconceived notions and applying them to another person. This is both incorrect and egocentric. I'm curious as to why this seems to get you so worked up, though. Nothing you've said has elicited an emotional response from me and, yet, you act as though my comment was a personal attack on you. It wasn't. You don't register in my plans to comment and I do not answer to you when I DO comment. Maybe this will help clear up any future misunderstandings.
