He has the same anguished look in everything. Is that what they teach in acting classes these days?

not interested. everything about this movie looks boring so far.Even its title sucks. "After Earth" sounds so corny...like a crappy sci-fi video game. Smith is proving himself overrated with everything he does nowadays.

I think M. Night's next movie should be called "After Directing".

@MrCritic115

110% agreed with you man! Like why the f**k are people still whining about his son being in the movie with him? Who the f**k cares, its his freaking son for crying out loud! Even if the movie doesnt turn out well you can't blame it n the most stupidest reasons. You all act like as if the kid should be on Leo DiCaprio's level. He's only been in two movies "The Pursuit of Happyness" and "The Karate Kid". People just hate on Jaden because he was a black actor cast in a movie everyone thought desrved to be played by a white role. Bash me all you want but Inknow the truth! lol

This movie will bomb. Not even a super celeb can save an M Knight movie. Looks to me like Smith is taking roles that he can drag his kid along too. Problem with the kids of celeb actors is that they usually don't get formal training. Smith was a gifted young man and his transition from music to tv to movies is a rare hollywood success story. The likelihood that his son can just step into acting like dad and find the same success are slim. We don't judge kids too harshly for their acting, but I thought he was god awful in karate kid. Now that he's maturing, people will start to criticize his ability. This is why the Brits are grabbing all the great roles... they still go to acting schools and get "formal" training in their craft. So many young American actors are crossovers from other industries... and it's a crap shoot; sometimes you get a good performance and sometimes you don't... but those Brits bring their A game every time.
