Caprica is a sci-fi television series set in the
Battlestar Galactica universe. Beginning 58 years before the events of BSG, it tells the story of how Colonial humanity first created the robotic Cylons, who would later plot to destroy human civilization in retaliation for their enslavement.
The first season, is composed of the two-hour pilot and 18 one-hour episodes, it is airing on Syfy in the United States on January 22nd 2010 of next year.
