Jupiter Jones (Mila Kunis) was born under a night sky, with signs predicting that she was destined for great things. Now grown, Jupiter dreams of the stars but wakes up to the cold reality of a job cleaning toilets and an endless run of bad breaks. Only when Caine (Channing Tatum), a genetically engineered ex-military hunter, arrives on Earth to track her down does Jupiter begin to glimpse the fate that has been waiting for her all along – her genetic signature marks her as next in line for an extraordinary inheritance that could alter the balance of the cosmos.

Jupiter Ascending is directed by Lana & Andy Wachowski and stars Mila Kunis as Jupiter Jones, Channing Tatum as Caine Wise, Sean Bean as Stinger, Eddie Redmayne as Balem Abrasax, Douglas Booth as Titus Abrasax, Tuppence Middleton as Kalique Abrasax, and James D'Arcy in an undisclosed role. The movie hits theaters February 6, 2015.

The CGI in this film looks fantastic (especially on the lizard) but that's really all this film has going for it.

I'm sure we will know next week when the movie theaters get their copies of the movie and trailers.

I really don't understand why anyone thinks Batman V. Superman NEEDS to campaign a full year ahead of its release. 6 months before it comes out is rational, but over 12 months is pointless spending.

This movie looks incredibly epic!!! I Have a feeling this will surprise a lot of people as everyone has grown lukewarm since it's gotten pushed back. Time will tell.

Can't wait for this. Wachowskis give zero [frick]s to what anyone thinks, glad WB is giving them a $200 mil palette to do whatever the [frick] they want.

If Nolan can get that kind of money from a studio, then so should the Wachowskis

The only problem with this movie, from what I've seen, is that it looks generic girl gets a generic fantasy land that only needs her to save the universe.

It could also be the actors, much like John Carter was last year. I feel that film was ruined because of the lead actor and the marketing.

I feel the same about this film.

Characters are the biggest thing when writing a story. I can make a bland story interesting if I have great characters. But if I have bland characters and a great story it just doesn't work.

The first two Matrix movies. That's it. Everything since then has been worth a huge wad of toilet paper.

This looks like such an epic mess. Not meaning terrible. Similar to cloud atlas in how it's reminding me of southland tales. Both of which are charming in their sprawling scope and concepts but fall flat on their faces. Southland tales in a much more awesome way and way more amusing cast. Interested in this movie.

i think this movie looks amazing... the scope of the film alone looks so dope!

and i can't understand why people hate on the Wachowski's, i thought cloud atlas was SUCH a beautiful movie! it had everything, and was so epic. the most under appreciated movie ever made.
