New Trailer For MISFITS Season 4

New Trailer For MISFITS Season 4

"New powers, hint of sexual possibility, tears, laughter, horribly graphic violence". Rudy (Joe Gilgun) gives us a very clear idea of what to expect in this new trailer for the bonkers "superhero" show which returns to E4 this Sunday..

They're dropping like flies those boiler-suit wearing scamps! With Antonia Thomas (Alisha) and Iwan Rheon (Simon) being killed off (sort of) at the end of the last season, and actress Lauren Socha (Kelly) doing time for aggravated assault, a few new characters were needed to make up a team. See the new characters in action in the following trailer..

If you haven't heard of, or seen this yet I'd highly recommend it. It's funny, sexy, and sometimes brutally violent. There's an American remake coming our way soon too, so best check out the original (and let's face it, most likely best!) version now. The show returns for its fourth season this Sunday at 22.00 on E4.

Yea, i HOPE that this will sort of redeem the series by adding a new dynamic.
The previous series was shit. tried to mix the feels of the first 2 series with the new character. Didn't really work.

Sadly, this his show lost most of its appeal when Robert Sheehan left. Nathan was so damn brash it made for a truly hilarious character. Can anyone tell me if the show got back on track during season 3?

marvel@ I saw demons never die (not good) and knew about Killing Bono (still haven't got round to seeing it) but that was it. The way I heard/read it, he was heading off for major things.

Nomis@ yeah a little young for me (unfortunately) but she definitely was the other highlight of the show

@Nomis Great formula! Gonna have to remember that.

If you can, get your hands on season 1, really great stuff. Season 2 fell off a bit and season 3 seemed to be done just so they could wrap up the loose ends. Hope season 4 brings back some of the season 1 magic.

Marvel@ still think he's a cracking actor just a little surprised he wasn't in bigger things.

@RedeyeJedi Season 3 was still pretty damn good, but it took a while to get into the swing of things after introducing Rudy.

@hellfire yeah, he did leave to do bigger and better things, but it seems like maybe he just crashed and burned instead. He's been in a couple of indie films and I think he's joining another TV show soon.

@Nomis, yeah, that's why I said it only works when you're in your late 20s. 26 or over in fact.

ACTOR WHO PLAYS RUDY IS AWESOME AND MAKES THE SHOW AWESOME. NATHAN'S CHARACTER WAS FUNNY BUT HE WILL NEVER COME BACK TO THE SHOW.

I've followed it from the start and yes, Nathan was missed but Joe Gilgun's character Rudy is an absolute gem of a replacement.

I've enjoyed every season so far and as long as the spirit of the show stays the same, the refreshing of the cast is the only way to offer longevity to the show.

I mean, people on Community Service orders generally do 140 hours or less, so to have the same characters for a great length of time without good reason means that the cast must be changed every so often as their sentences will have run.

It's an odd time for British genre TV at the moment, with both Misfits and Being Human undergoing huge changes in characters and dynamics, as well as cast members. The thing they share is strong writing and if given a chance in their new guises, both shows should continue for a while yet.

I hope.

This about sums up how I felt about series 3...

I'll give this a roll though. The general premise of the show has a lot or potential I just think the original cast was put together as an ensemble. When one piece dropped off the entire group chemistry suffered IMO.

Looking forward to this, even though I'll miss ogling the lovely Antonia Thomas.
