Following his relatively humble beginnings on television with a number of popular series, including Felicity, Alias, and Lost; and his subsequent transition to direction with franchise titles including Mission: Impossible III, Star Trek, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens, J.J. Abrams has not only established himself as one of the biggest producers and directors in the world, but also as one of the most unique voices in sci-fi today.

His most recent production, the critically acclaimed Julius Avery-directed war/horror movie Overlord, arrives on Digital HD today and to get fans even more excited, Paramount Home Media Distribution has provided me with an exclusive clip, featuring star Wyatt Russell (Ford) detailing his experience working with Abrams and what the ace producer brings to the table on any given day.

won't lie it spooked me a tiny bit with that image of he being chased by that thing .... maybe cause it reminded me of the movie "the thing" prequel .....with that hallway scene

@knocturnalzen10 - it may have been intentional, Wyatt IS Kurt Russell's son in real life. It blew my mind when I found that out while watching his episode of Black Mirror and thinking, "Gee, this guy looks like MacReady from the Thing!" Only to find out they are related!

@L0RDbuckethead - what points do you think he should hit and re-tracked , pertaining towards SW's ? cause he seems to want to follow the original 4-7 formula imo

@knocturnalzen10 - Theres honestly nothing specific I want in Episode IX - I've accepted the sequel trilogy for what it is - I just want it to be a good film.

More specifically, I'd like them to wrap up Kylo's arc in a creative way - whether that includes him turning back to the light side, staying as the "Supreme Leader", whatever.

Just please, NO REY-LO BABY. Especially if it is conceived in the way some leaks were describing a few months back.

@L0RDbuckethead - no way really :/ i'm not a huge fan of some of these redemption arcs at this point .... and the baby bomb would be and excuse to create a mega force wielder in my opinion......

@knocturnalzen10 - Totally agree. Unfortunately I think that is the direction this franchise is heading in. We'll see. They gotta set up SOMETHING for the eventual X-XII films - even if they take a few years off between Episode IX and Episode X.

@knocturnalzen10 - it should be noted also, I'm not a huge fan of the redemption arcs they've set up, but they've clearly set them up for a reason, so I'm just hoping for the best from Abrams and co.

Time to watch it for me then. Abrams really knows what to write, direct or produce. Also Wyatt is a pretty underrated actor in my opinion
