Had no clue Landis was also behind this movie. This movie has a nice crew behind it, also.

Sounds pretty standard all things considered, pretty much the pilot of mighty morphin extended to feature length. Which isn't a bad thing, besides, the cool thing about Power Rangers is the spectacle and not the story, and with a big hollywood budget its going to be awesome to see what they can do. Seeing them morph and seeing the megazords with a 100+ million dollar budget? Going to be [frick]ing awesome.

@Mrcool210 - I rather they teased us and build up the massive robot scenes a la Godzilla

@ivanplmr - True, thaty would be better, I didn't mean have all robot fighting through the movie (Ala Pacific Rim) I just mean imagine how good its going to look compared to the tv show.

@Mrcool210 - I remember last year watching a short film about rangers that was superb, hope it turns out something like that.

@ivanplmr - I remember that, I also remember JDF shitting on it cause it "wasn't in the spirit of the power rangers" cause its was a darker story, which worries me cause he said he wants to be in this movie, a darker more adult power rangers (or at least better written then that last few shows) is what we need.

@Mrcool210 - yes to that, not necessarily darker but better written or at least not one dimensional.

Mrcool210 - 2/29/2016, 4:46 PM
@ivanplmr - Agreed, Darker was just the first word that came to mind, but yeah, better written is all I really want, not like citizen kane or dark knight or anything, but write it with some competence, and maybe we'll get that with Landis helping to write.

@Mrcool210 - Agreed! I wish more people understood this. The show itself is VERY flawed. It's easy to overlook them and enjoy the series, and the same can be said for the movie. People need to lighten up.
