Release Date For Wally Pfister's Sci-Fi Film TRANSCENDENCE Moved Up A Week

According to ERC Box Office, Warner Bros. has slated a new release date for its upcoming sci-fi film Transcendence: April 18th, 2014. Originally set for an April 25th debut, the new date moves the Johnny Depp-starrer further from the sure to be smash The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (which bows May 2nd that year). The film (which will be executive produced by Christopher Nolan) marks the directorial debut of Oscar winning cinematographer Wally Pfister (Inception, The Dark Knight Trilogy), and plot details are currently kept under wraps.

Additionally, The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Cole Hauser (who was seen earlier this year in A Good Day To Die Hard and Olympus Has Fallen) is the latest addition to the impressive cast, which also consists of Paul Bettany, Cillian Murphy, Rebecca Hall and Morgan Freeman. According to the site, the actor will play "a military officer called upon to save the world." Transcendce is scheduled to begin production next month. Do you plan on seeing this film?

Johnny Depp, Morgan Freeman, Cillian Murphy, Paul Bettany, and Rebecca Hall all in one Sci Fi movie. This has my interest.

Why does IMDB have Channing Tatum listed as a cast member on Interstellar? Did I miss something.

I hope Bettany is the baddie of the film. He does that so well. :)

Murphy can play the third lead Scientist.

I find it quite silly when people say I don't care about something yet take the time to comment.

@AgentSteveRogersSonTheUnCaptainAmerica I think Marcel has a point. If you don't care about the movie, then why would you care enough to comment on the about the article about it?

This is gonna be awesome...

I just hope that Johnny Depp is not in any white make up at all anywhere and I hope that Burton's wife is no where near it either...
