Samuel L. Jackson On New STAR WARS Movies; Wants To Return As Mace Windu

An actor from the previous movies expressing interest in returning is nothing new or surprising, but the Avengers actor has some interesting ideas about how his character - Jedi master Mace Windu - could come back. A "one-armed ghost" perhaps?..

Of course you wouldn't expect to hear the word "no" from any actor when asked if they'd be interested in a role in a new Star Wars movie, but Samuel L. Jackson seems genuinely stoked for the news of another trilogy (at least) heading our way. In Revenge Of The Sith his character had his arm severed by Anakin Skywalker before being force-lightninged out a window by The Emperor, but I guess he could have survived? Anyway, the actor doesn't seem bothered about the manner of Master Windu's return - live, dead, or hologram!

"I'm not surprised but totally geeked by the idea of there being more Star Wars. It's like, okay, Obi-Wan was dead when episode four started, so maybe everyone thinks I'm dead and we'll find out what happened to Mace Windu. I can come back as one-armed or a one-handed Jedi that's still around that didn't actually die."

Jackson was then asked if he would definitely be up for coming back and responded, "Hell yeah! I could do that or be a ghost hologram. I don't care, I just want to stay associated with the franchise. Not that I won't because I've been in three of them." I actually thought Windu was a pretty useless character in the prequels, but I'm sure with some better material Jackson could bring him to life properly. Would you like to see him return? Sound off below.
