You guys make fun of these young adult novel adaptations and call them "gay," but you know why people love these movies so much?Because, unlike comic book movie adaptations, they're accurate and faithful to the source. If these "Hunger Games" and "Harry Potter" movies weren't as faithful as they are, do you think they would be making billions of dollars? And even though these young adult novel adaptations do stray away from the books a little bit, they're never less than 85% accurate, which people appreciate so much. So, call these movies "stupid" or "gay," but theywill always be loved, taken more seriously, and appreciated more than comic book movies, because they do the one thing that they can't: be faithful.
