Empire has just released their latest magazine cover that gives Justin Lin's Star Trek Beyond the spotlight. The dazzling cover down below features Captain Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinton), and newcomer Jaylah (Sofia Boutella). Along with our heroes, the cover is labeled with the caption- "Set phasers to stun! The enterprise crew face their most dangerous adventure ever."

With the film set to hit theaters on July 22 of next month, Empire promises to release a 60-page bonus magazine that will celebrate the 50-year history of Star Trek. This bonus magazine will also feature new images from the film, and a lot more exclusive content that I'm sure you'll enjoy! With that said, check out the new cover for both the August issue, and the 60-page collector's edition, then share your thoughts in the comment section below!

After stopping off at Starbase Earhart, a remote outpost on the fringes of Federation space, the USS Enterprise, halfway into their five-year mission, is destroyed by a powerful, unstoppable wave of unknown aliens. With the crew stranded on a unknown planet and with no apparent means of rescue, they find themselves in conflict with a new ruthless enemy who has a well-earned hatred of the Federation and what it stands for.

Star Trek Beyond reunites Jon Cho, Simon Pegg, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoë Saldana, Karl Urban and Anton Yelchin, with Idris Elba, Sofia Boutella, Lydia Wilson, Shohreh Aghdashloo and Joe Taslim joining the cast. This film is set to hit theaters on July 22. What do you think?
