"The Federation do not care about us, they abandoned this planet long ago. You'll probably never see me again, but if you do... be ready."

Oh man, it's on now. The latest TV spot for Justin Lin's Star Trek Beyond sheds some light on Krall's backstory, with Idris Elba providing an incredibly chilling threat to Capt. Kirk and company, a threat that he seems more than capable of carrying out. The film hits theaters next this Friday, with preview screenings beginning Thursday afternoon. Check out the new TV spot below:

After stopping off at Starbase Earhart, a remote outpost on the fringes of Federation space, the USS Enterprise, halfway into their five-year mission, is destroyed by a powerful, unstoppable wave of unknown aliens. With the crew stranded on a unknown planet and with no apparent means of rescue, they find themselves in conflict with a new ruthless enemy who has a well-earned hatred of the Federation and what it stands for.

Star Trek Beyond will feature:
Director: Justin Lin
Chris Pine as Captain James T. Kirk
Zachary Quinto as Commander Spock
Zoe Saldana as LT Nyota Uhura
Karl Urban as LCDR Dr. Leonard "Bones" McCoy
Simon Pegg as LCDR Montgomery "Scotty" Scott

Wasn't interested in this movie, but now that I know Idris is in it, I gotta see it. He and Tom Hardy are my two favorite contemporary actors. Idris for John Stewart and Tom for Fatality!

Should definitely had SPOILERS in title and used a different picture for the article. This trailer though confirms part of my theory that I have had for over a week. Gotta do some more lore research to see if I can find more evidence for the rest of the theory.
