Dont want to reveal what he does or what his job description due to his reputation but George Lucas had a sit down with Mark Hamill in the room they discussed that they were looking for a TV show pitch. So im guessing that fans or really good filmmakers should get there cameras out and start getting ideas. This is a fan boys wet dream!

i though they abandoned the TV show idea because it cost too much.. and they were going to focus on the next three movies Eps 7, 8, and 9.

tv show should be based on the adventures of boba fett.

but i'd rather see a trilogy for episodes 7,8 & 9.

An Old JEDI KNIGHT = LUKE SKYWALKER would be and is AWESOME!!!

But the shows set between ep 3 to 4!

No way he could be LUKE and that would SUCK!

This IS bullshit! Lucas has said (on COUNTLESS occasions) that he will NEVER do episodes 7-9, nor will he EVER allow ANYONE to do them while he's alive!

The Episodes 7, 8, 9 have been debunked as bogus.

There has been talk of a TV series for some time. Thou it is to be after Ep. 3 and before Ep. 4. A portrayal of how the rebellion grew and gained strength. It was reported, no Jedi or Vader. Just Stormtroopers and Rebel Fighters.

You mean your friend "used to work" at Lucasfilm. His assets are probably being frozen at this time and his family is being moved to a relocation camp near Skywalker Ranch. If I were you I would pack up and head south while you still can. JK =P

Are they gonna stop with the Clones II-esque toons or bring us Live-Action as it's supposed to be? It ain't hard to make a decent TV series.

Season 3: Wraith Squadron (Courtship of Princess Leia)
3 1/2 hour movie blockbuster: Thrawn Crisis
Season 4: Dark Empire I
Season 5: Dark Empire II
Season 6: Isard's Revenge
Another Summer Movie: I, Jedi/Jedi Academy trilogy
Season 7: Children of the Jedi/Darksaber
Season 8: Starfighters of Adumar/Planet of Twilight
Season 9: The Crystal Star (with flashbacks to Han Solo Trilogy)
Third Summer Movie: The Black Fleet Crisis
Season 10: The Corellian Trilogy
Spinoff season 1: Young Jedi Knights
Season 11: The Hand of Thrawn Duology
Spinoff season 2: Young Jedi Knights
Epic Finish Movie Trilogy: New Jedi Order (perhaps have Vector Prime, Turning Point, and Unifying Force as the actual three films with continuing seasons of shows in between)

I realize this would take a tremendous amount of logistical effort on the part of producers, writers, and actors, but I believe if you find the right commited people, this set-up could be the most prolific and epic note in TV/Movie history.
Besides, George Lucas has more money than God, so he should be able to find SOME people who can bring talent and give a crap out Star Wars simultaneously. Heck, I'll do it for free.

Granted this is just my opinion, but I hope the idea is well recieved.

I'm sick of GEORGE LUCAS trying to steal all of our fanboys hard earned money; I'm just waiting for Lucas to die so the whole franchise can fall apart or we get millions more Star Wars novels for the next 100 years!

im a wars fan, and i pretty much like all the stuff that's come out, but still i am dieing to see some live action something. just anything. well..not anything.i mean c'mon its time for some more live action jedi stuff.
